Matthew Williams joined Colin Daley Quinn in 2019 as an experienced lawyer with wide-ranging knowledge and expertise.
After spending over 20 years working with the Government, Matthew initially made the move into private practice in 2015 and now brings a wealth of experience to our firm. Having worked across numerous fields of law, Matthew has developed extensive expertise in the provision of commercial advice, as well as mediation, dispute resolution, and litigation. Over the course of his career he has successfully advised and represented both public sector and private sector clients on issues including liquor licensing, defamation, debt recovery, insolvency and winding up applications, leasing and retail tenancies, property disputes, Wills and NCAT matters.
In addition, Matthew has gained significant experience in the conduct of investigative matters and has worked closely with employers, registered clubs and education providers to investigate and resolve issues regarding both behavioural and procedural matters.
Matthew’s professional approach, knowledge and attention to detail ensures clients achieve the best possible results and experience a high level of service.
Matthew has close ties to the local community and is a member of St George Business Referral Group and The Ridge Golf Club, as well as being an avid cricketer and playing for the Illawarra Catholic Club.
